This notice describes the information used to run Tourneying and its martial arts tournament services.

Information used by Tourneying
Account information includes your email address and assigned tournament or school roles. Tournament registration can include competitor names, birth date or age, gender, rank, weight, school or team, contact details, guardian information, selected divisions, and waiver signatures. Tournament records include entries, scores, brackets, placements, and fees recorded for the event.
How information is used
Information is used to manage accounts, registrations, division eligibility, brackets, ring scheduling, scoring, results, certificates, and school rosters. Account emails support actions such as email confirmation, invitations, sign-in links, and password recovery.
Access and public results
Tournament organizers and authorized staff can access information needed to run their events. Coaches manage school rosters. Public results, medal counts, and TV displays may show competitor names, schools, divisions, scores, and placements. Consider this visibility before entering a tournament.
Optional Dojo Champ connection
If a school connects Dojo Champ, its students can be imported into Tourneying. Linked student identifiers are retained so finalized tournament results can be saved to the correct Dojo Champ record. Results sent include the tournament, activity date, division, placement, and location. Competitors without a Dojo Champ link are not included in this result sync. School connection keys are stored server-side, not displayed publicly.
Children and guardian information
Martial arts tournaments may include minors. Parents, guardians, coaches, and organizers should provide only information needed for participation and obtain any required authorization before submitting a child’s information.
Service providers and storage
Hosting, account authentication, and email-delivery services process information necessary to operate the app. Browser storage supports sign-in sessions. Dojo Champ receives linked records only when a school uses the optional integration.
